Internship at Phuong Thanh

In July, I became an intern at Phuong Thanh Centre for Autism Children. This period was an unprecedented experience for me, both as a student and a volunteer. The student practiced basic skills (buttoning,...) Using my pre-interaction with the autistic children here, it was not too laborious for me to familiarize myself with the environment. Through weekly interaction, I steadily understood more about the children's thinking process, social interconnection, and their viewpoints about the world surrounding them. In contrast, because I was no professional, I frequently questioned in my head: "What does the world look like in their eyes?" Possibly, when I enter university, I will discover a part of the answer to this curiosity. The teachers here explained conscientiously to me about autistic children's habits, methods to manage the class, and their daily activities at school. These guidances allowed me to assist the teacher better and develop suitable class activities f...

Donating 50 Computers to Primary School in Tuyên Quang Province

To support the project "Rescue the Poinsettia," in which our organization SVC would donate a total of around 50 computers to different primary schools in the area, I was on my way to the Tuyên Quang province to help with installing the software to the computer. Even though the day was not extremely difficult, I know that through these actions, hundreds of students in this school will now gain the opportunity to access the Internet and learn through more diverse studying resources. Moreover, they can participate in online competitions, such as the "Young Poinsettia" contest organized by the Pioneer Youth Magazine. This competition is also one of the foundations that sparked this project of our organization. We are just providing the first step to the student's journey, and the rest are depending on them. However, I am confident that by combining these productive machines and the student's hard work and intelligence, their future will surely flourish.

Sharing kindness with patients at Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion

Until now, I have volunteered for several charities aimed at different underprivileged groups around Hanoi. This time, I volunteered to help serve free porridges for the patients at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. Still, I felt as spirited as ever because I knew many people were hungry for a hot, nutritious breakfast to improve their health. Serving hot meals to the patients There were a lot more people than I initially thought My mission was to prepare and scoop porridges into the food containers that the patients brought along. In addition to two different flavors, we also offered them some seasonings, such as spring onion or fried onion. Even though I was slightly clumsy in using such a big ladle, other volunteers guided me patiently. With practice, I eventually got better at utilizing the tool. We worked nonstop before the food turned lukewarm. The event was brief, bu...

Introducing about myself

My name is Hoang Bao Ngan and I was born and grew up in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Currently, at the moment this first blog was created, I am a 12th grader, preparing my path to university or college. About my hobby, I am interested in writing fanfiction, both in the form of series or short stories. I have been writing a few pieces since 5th grade, so I can say that this hobby is one of the factors that shape who I am now - an imaginative, sociable person who can also be realistic at times. Those are some adjectives that my friends and family often associate me with. Other than that, I also liked participating in outdoor activities and playing various types of sports, such as basketball and badminton.   In the future, I am planning to apply to the psychology major. Personally, I am fascinated by the field after having a few interactions with it, both at school and in daily life. This blog was born as a medium for me to reflect on my journey through various charities, club...
