Painting Kintergarden for Children at Mountainous Area

Joining in as a member of SVC (Sách Vùng Cao), I grasped the chance to travel to Bắc Kạn - a province in the Upper Northern area of Vietnam. Accompany me were my family and also more than 50 members of SVC, all coming together with the determination to provide the children here with the best education environment possible.

We painted meticulously on the wall

Our mission as the supporting group was to decorate the school more lively and arrange small parties for our future students. Along with some other members, I was in charge of the outside walls, using the paint roller carefully to cover the wall with radiant colors to match the children's innocent souls. After finishing my task, I came to help with preparing the party. It was also the Mid-Autumn Festival that day, so we brought gifts and treats relating to the theme so the kids could celebrate this day together.

While interacting with the children here, I could feel a sense of pride and inspiration watching their excitement to learn despite their tough living standards. With these human resources, the whole process only took a day to finish all the work. Nevertheless, it left me with many unerasable memories of a satisfying and enjoyable trip.
